The second-hand marketplace Users Share Displeasure Over Size Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage after an update resulted in items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has altered its size classifications for female and kids' apparel without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category than originally posted due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with similar services.
It has advised users to examine their items and manually change the size if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Updates
Previously, the measurements included one number and one letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Shopper Experiences
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Another user, from Glasgow, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they may become frustrated," she stated.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, from Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she stated.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million users, including 18 million in the UK.
It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: last year, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods after backlash from users.
